Today, we are going to practise our rhythm by playing with Igor the Octopus and Producer and DJ, Kev Sheridan! Kev is originally from Bettystown and now lives and works in Berlin.

To warm up let play along with Igor. Let's divide into four groups; red, blue, green and yellow. Let's choose a different sound or instrument each - we can use vocal sounds, body percussion or any classroom instruments you have.

Once we have our sounds and instruments, let's play with Igor! Make sure the sound is turned up so we can feel the pulse.

Now let's watch a video from Irish electronic artist Kev Sheridan. He is going to show us how he performs his track "It's Gonna Be Perfect".

After that we are going to get our instruments or sounds ready again and compose and play along with the track!

Now we can compose our own rhythm to play along with Kev. Divide the class into four groups and each can follow a different colour.

You can also have someone change the composition as the piece is being performed!
